Environmental Awareness Policy
Karp Associates, Inc. is committed to protecting our environment,and realizes that minimizing the environmental impact of our manufacturing processes is critical to the future of our planet.

• Karp fabricates all access doors from post consumer and post industrial recycled steel. All scrap steel materials accumulated from the fabrication process are recycled again.
• Karp finishes all of its access doors with a high quality, durable, rust resistant powder paint finish that is EPA approved. Karp's powder paint contains no Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC) or Hazardous Air Pollutants (HAP), and therefore, no toxic fumes are emitted into the atmosphere. Excess powder paint that is accumulated in the painting process is recycled to be used again.
• Karp participates in an Energy Demand Response Program and operates a power generator when the local power authority is at maximum supply, thereby reducing the demand for energy on the local community.
• Karp implements freight policies that encourage consolidated shipments throughout the country in order to conserve fuel.
